Superman's first appearance was in the 1938 issue of "Action Comics" #1.

Though genetically an alien conceived by parents 'Jor-El' and 'Lara Lor-Van' of the planet 'Krypton', 'Superman' was discovered in a Kansas corn field by passing mororists 'Jonathan' and 'Martha Hudson Clark Kent'.

Living by the moral values taught to him by his Earth parents, Superman's high ideals are sometimes mistaken for naivete and his steadfast determination for unrealistic optimism. But through his deeds, Superman has proven to be a compassionate, courageous character with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.

AQUAMAN COMIC "AQUAMAN"
